Program Options

Two Year Degree

Students admitted into the two year degree program will receive an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Aquarium Science after successfully completing all necessary prerequisites and required coursework for the program. Applicants for the two year degree program must have received a high school diploma or GED and may have completed some college level coursework. {More details}

One Year CertificateAquarium Science Building

Students admitted into the one year certificate program will receive a Certificate of Completion in Aquarium Science after successfully completing the core curriculum and full composition of aquarium science courses.  Applicants for the one year certificate program must have completed a Bachelors degree or higher in Life Sciences or related field of study. {More details.}

Aquarium Science Program Internship

Provides the experience of daily diligence, responsibilities and rewards of the aquatic animal husbandry profession at an aquatic animal facility. Presents daily animal care and facility readiness routines, assisting life support staff and animal health management professionals, and evaluation of operational aspects of the facility. {More details.}
