Crank up the EQ: Emotional Intelligence
Back by popular demand, the OCCC SBDC is pleased to once again offer Stewart Brannen’s fresh take on the benefits of focusing on honing and understanding your Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Created last year, Brannen’s first iteration of this program was met with praise from workshop participants. New for Winter ‘19, Stewart is adding a Leadership component to the course. Warm up to the fascinating world of emotional intelligence (EQ) and discover how to apply a richer understanding to the interplay of human emotions in our daily lives. Modern science is revealing that the more EQ we have, the greater likelihood we are to succeed in our jobs, in our relationships, in our family life and most importantly with ourselves. Instructed by a certified intentional leadership coach, this class is designed to share the latest insights into EQ and how it can generate “Aha!” moments in our personal awareness and interaction with others. Stewart Brannen is CEO of the Siletz Tribal Business Corporation.
