We would like to present a slide show at the ceremony of current graduates and ESOL students. Please send photos from class to pcarpenter@occc.cc.or.us by May 31, 2012. If you make an appointment for a cap and gown fitting we can take a photo for the slide show at that time. |
| Attendance |
It is important for us to know if you will be walking at the graduation ceremony. Please email pcarpenter@occc.cc.or.us to confirm your participation in the June 15, 2012 ceremony. |
| Cap and Gown |
GED graduates will wear blue gowns this year. Please contact Roberta Green or Pam Carpenter to arrange a fitting for a cap and gown from May 25 to June 8, 2012. Photos for the slide show may be take at that time.

| Professional Photographs |
Cohen and Park Photographers will be available to take photos of graduates as they walk across the stage after they have received their degree or certificate. They will also be available in the Black Box Room on the ground level of the Performing Arts Center if you want photos taken during the reception. Pricing starts at $17 per sheet. What will be your Next Step? The information you provide will be read at the graduation ceremony as you cross the stage to receive your certificate . Please write on a 3 x 5 card letting us know what the future holds for you. Will you be starting or continuing college classes? Taking a break? Looking for work? |
| Parking |
Parking is free for you and your guests. Graduates and guests for the 7:00 p.m. Degree and Certificate Graduation will be arriving as you leave. |
| Family and Guests |
You may bring as many guests as you wish to the ceremony. No tickets or reservations are necessary for your guests. |
| Your GED Certificate |
When you cross the stage, you will receive a rolled piece of paper in place of your actual GED certificate. The GED certificate from the college will be given to you when you return your cap and gown in the dressing room after the ceremony. Official transcripts of GED completion will be mailed to you from the state. |
| Reception |
There will be refreshments served immediately following the ceremony in the Black Box Room at the Performing Arts Center. Participants and guests are welcome. |
