The Small Business Development Center at Oregon Coast Community College provides a number of services to the small business owners and would-be entrepreneurs of Lincoln County. Oregon Coast SBDC Activities

In 2009, the SBDC helped found (and still hosts and supports today) the Buy Local Lincoln County association. The SBDC’s staff is actively involved in organizations throughout Lincoln County, including:

Newport Chamber of Commerce

• Lincoln City and Newport Rotary Clubs

• Kiwanis Club of Lincoln City

• Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce

…and many more organizations.

Scholarship Assistance

The Lincoln City Urban Renewal Agency has approved renewed funding for SBDC scholarships for Lincoln City businesses located within the U.R. District. And, the Roger and Lois Mills Scholarship provides additional assistance for Lincoln County businesses seeking SBDC services, including the Small Business Management Program.

The SBDC also provides referral services to local, state, and federal resources.
