Inspired by the opening of the season, we’ll explore the colors and textures of the farmers’ market just outside the doors of our studio to create a wall hanging (8×10) mosaic. We’ll start with a brief visit to the market to gather sketches or photos for inspiration, then head indoors to work with brilliant stained glass on a solid substrate to capture your market memory in mosaic form. Learn basic glass cutting with a wheeled nipper, and some design fundamentals specific to this medium. All materials and tools provided. Grouting completed by instructor after class.
